Admissions

Opening hours

  • Lechlade Little Learners operates for 38 weeks of the year, term time only. Monday to Friday 8:45am to 3:00pm. 

  • We request that children do a minimum of 2 sessions a week, this gives them consistency and enables them to settle easier.

  • You can book morning, afternoon or full days.

  • All sessions are subject to availability and we may operate a waiting list for some sessions

Sessions

  • MORNING - Morning sessions are either 9:00am to 12:00pm (3hours) or 9:00am to 1pm (4hours)

  • AFTERNOON - Afternoon sessions are 12:00pm to 3:00pm (3hours)

  • FULL DAY - Full day sessions are 9:00am to 3:00pm (6hours)

  • ​EARLY START - Early starts are 8:45am to 9:00am (15mins)

Fees charges from April 2025

Standard rate

£8.00 per hour - This rate applies to non-funded hours.

Early Starts

£2.00 - This session is not covered by funded hours.

Consumable charges

£1.oo per morning snack, 50p per afternoon snack - The consumables charge only applies to funded hours. Please see below for further details.

Important information

  • FUNDED HOURS - Funding is for up to 30hours per week 38 week of the year. 

  • APPLYING FOR FUNDING - It is the responsibility of parents to apply for extended or working family funding in the term before the funding begins. It is also the responsibility of parents to reconfirm their eligibility every 3 months.

  • FUNDING START DATE - please note that all Early Years funding starts the school term after the child’s 2nd or 3rd birthday and does not therefore apply immediately after the child’s birthday.

Explanation of funding available.

  • ADDITIONAL HOURS - parents are welcome to book additional sessions. These are charged at our standard rates. â€‹

  • CONSUMABLE CHARGE - A non mandatory charge of £1 for morning snack and 50p for afternoon snack. This charge ensures we can provide a varied and substantial snack. Please note that the consumables charge does not apply to paid sessions. The consumables charge does not apply to families who currently receive certain means-tested benefits for example children in receipt of pupil premium or a means-tested 2-year-old funding code. Please ask us for details if you think you are eligible.

  • SNACKS – We provide healthy snacks throughout the day. Snacks are included in the fees / consumables charge.

  • SUNDRIES – If nappies, wet wipes, nappy creams etc. are not supplied by parents, we will charge £3 per session to supply these. Please also provide a change of clothes.

Payment options

  • Please kindly note that fees are payable by the due date on the invoice. Any late payments may incur a late payment fee. 

  • Invoices will be sent via EYWorks and all balance information will be displayed.

  • We accept payment via all the main Workplace Voucher Schemes including Care4, Edenred, etc.

  • Lechlade Little Learners is a registered provider for the government Tax-free Childcare Scheme. ​For more information regarding funding visit: https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/

  • Payment by online banking / BACS transfer: Bank account details will be on the invoice email sent at the start of every half term.
